Delete your CaldaPro account

This page is for anyone with a CaldaPro account, including people who use the CaldaPro app from Google Play. You can delete your own account at any time. There are two ways.
1. In the app
- Open CaldaPro and sign in.
- Tap your name at the top right to open your profile.
- Tap Delete my account… at the bottom, read what will happen, type DELETE and confirm.
Your account is deleted right away. If you signed in but were never added to a company, the same link is on the “Almost there” screen.
2. By email
If you can't get into the app, email support@caldapro.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my CaldaPro account”. We delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in. You can no longer open CaldaPro with that account.
- Your profile: your name, email address, phone number and profile photo.
- Your invitation, your role and permissions, and your email address on close-out and materials records and on support requests you sent.
What is kept, and why
- Jobs, estimates, invoices, signed documents, photos, messages and activity-log entries you worked on stay with the company you worked for. They are that company's business records of work done for its customers, and they keep your name as it was written on them at the time. The company decides how long it keeps them. If you never set a name in CaldaPro, your email address stood in for your name: we replace it on the jobs you were assigned, and remove it from other records if you ask support@caldapro.com.
- A message you sent us through the caldapro.com website (the “Get started” form), if you sent one. It isn't part of your account; ask support@caldapro.com and we delete it.
- A note that the account was deleted (the date, with no personal details), so we can show the request was carried out.
- Phone and text records held by our phone provider (Twilio) for calls and texts that went to your mobile number, for as long as that provider keeps them.
To have a company's whole account and all of its records deleted, the company's owner can write to support@caldapro.com.
Two cases that need one more step
- You are the only owner of a company that has other people in it. Make someone else an owner first (Users page), then delete your account.
- You are the only person in your company. Write to support@caldapro.com and we will delete your account and close the company.
